POINTS of IMPORTANCE TO FORMING THIS NEW COUNCIL

1. Establish a new LULAC council to serve Alvarado, Arlington, Dal-Worthington Gardens, South East Fort Worth, Kennedale, Lillian, Mansfield, Midlothian, Pantego and Venus.

2. Establish a new LULAC council which MIRRORS as best possible the Demographic ethnic, racial, economic and gender make up of the region in question.

3. Establish a new LULAC council which will be proactive, innovative and dedicated to Civil Rights of all minorities who live in that region. Minorities, as described by US Federal laws include: people of African, American Indian, Asian, Hispanic, and other under represented ethnicity, cultures and races. The laws also protect Children, Elderly, Handicapped, Women and Sexual Preference. And, finally, these same laws apply to and protect people of Lower Economic Means.

4. Review and access the process of the 20 children who were arrested on or about Thursday the 13th of February by the Fort Worth PD at William James Middle School and held under arrest overnight. Some of the parents claim that they were notified late or not at all until the following day.
